Is Star tools any good?
StarTools is a nice package – it allows you do get decent pictures without knowing much about how image processing works and what and why causes imperfections. Default settings work in many cases, and when they don’t – you just move sliders and watch the image changing. However, there is a flip side to it.

Is Star Tools free?
You do not need an Internet connection and you are free to install StarTools on as many systems as you like, provided you own those systems and are an individual. We’re not a fan of heavy handed DRM systems, complicated activation procedures or “renters” licenses.

What is drizzle in Deep Sky Stacker?
Drizzle is a simple algorithm that creates an image that is larger than the images in the stack and interpolates between pixels to ensure it reproduces fine detail in edges despite the effects of stacking transformations. The former generates a final stacked image that is twice the size in each dimension.
Does PixInsight do stacking?

Does Deep Sky Stacker align?
